Isabel was born within Melbourne Australia. Her father is Australian and her mother Swiss. Her family is from Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a tiny mining community located in the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia as well as Jabiru in Switzerland. Alongside the help of her younger sister Nina they went to schools that included children of all cultures and races. Isabel currently resides with her family in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel started acting at the age of 12. When she graduated from Queensland University of Technology she studied acting at the Victoria College of Arts. Also, she has recently completed an PEM Method class (Perdekamp Emotional Method) study. It was not until she auditioned for roles until she was discovered by her agent in 2002. She was auditioning for an actress in Home and Away. They felt that she was not right for the role but they were impressed enough to create a new part for Tasha. She starred for 3 years as her first TV role. She was awarded the Logie Award (for new popular talents) for her appearance. In 2008 Isabel relocated into Los Angeles. The role that made Isabel famous was her debut as a character in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). Since then, she has starred and been awarded in many US films as and Australian ones. Isabel has recently appeared in Bosh & Rockit a fast-emerging Australian classic and the soon to be released thriller Lunacy. Isabel wrapped Sons of Summer recently and is currently in preproduction for the role of Marie Curie in Radiant, a film by the award-winning director/writer Annika Glac.
